Our Genuine Tufnol Whale Sheet (mechanical) is also known as SRBF and is the grade specifically for engineering purposes. Whale Tufnol Sheet is perfect for wear resistant componants such as bearings, bushes, gears, washers, slideways and above waterline marine use.Tufnol Whale Sheet is dimensionally very stable, and can be either run dry or lubricated with water, oils or grease.(sizes are nominal)

Manufacturers produce engineering plastics that are slightly oversize in either diameter and/or thickness. This oversize tolerance, which is listed in the tables below, is provided to assist customers to produce very accurate items within the size shown and remove any minor surface imperfection.
